WHAT MAKES THIS COURSE DIFFERENT
PRODUCTION VALUES: The course includes best of class theory, architecture and practical demo lessons. Everything in the course is there for a reason, is produced to a high standard and aids in your learning
ALWAYS CONSIDERS COST: The course starts by helping you create and setup AWS accounts which you will use for your study. These will benefit from the free-tier wherever possible, and uses lower-cost types, sizes, and SKUs to keep costs of your hands-on experienced in mind.
SUITABLE FOR ANYONE: You don't need any AWS experience; the course starts by introducing cloud computing and AWS fundamentals at a basic level - ensuring that no student is left behind. What you will need is a computer, an email address and payment card to create the AWS account and a commitment to put in the effort required to pass a challenging exam.
LEARN REAL SKILLS: This course isn't just about the exam, the AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer - Associate is one of the most valuable certifications available in IT - but obtaining $100,000+ cloud positions will require experience as well as accreditation. By the end of the course, you will be prepared to pass the exam confidently while also having gained enough experience to use AWS day to day from an operational and administration perspective.
SCENARIO BASED: The course is based around a real-world like organization Aus-E-Mart (ausemart.net). The theory and demo lessons are structured around scenarios which you will encounter in the real world. Whether we're talking about serverless applications, data migration and connecting AWS to on-premises environments using a Site-to-Site VPN - the things you learn will be useful in the real world.
RESPECTS YOUR TIME: I promise to respect your time. Everything in the course is either relevant to the exam, or will provide the surrounding knowledge which will help you pass with confidence; while also gaining the practical experience needed to get access to exciting job opportunities. Lessons are never more than 20 minutes and often much shorter - I prioritize efficiency, not duration. Each section includes a quiz helping you retain knowledge, and at the end of the course, we've designed a full practice exam which mirrors real-world conditions.

When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.
How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.
What if I am unhappy with the course?
We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us in the first 14 days and we will give you a full refund. All that we ask is that you give us an honest reason for the refund.

No ... all courses are one time purchases and include access for the lifetime of the certification exam and all updates.
Do the courses have labs?
I call them DEMO lessons. The course gets you to create AWS accounts at the start. DEMO lessons run largely within the free tier but allow us to do long-running demos and architecture evolutions which aren't possible with traditional LAB systems. Additionally, we can test things like AWS Organisations and IAM which tend to be restricted in LAB platforms.
Are there any time restrictions?
No ... you have access to the lifetime of the certifications. It's self-paced training so you can study at your own rate and watch lessons as many times as required.
What do the courses include
Theory Lessons, DEMO lessons and DEMO Assets (on GitHub). Section Quizzes. Final practice exams. Visual Learning aids and full professionally made captions.
Is the course accessible?
Yes. The course is designed for colour vision deficiencies, using shapes, colours and vocals to help distinguish between visual elements. Additionally, the course comes complete with captions in English for hard of hearing students and those with English as a second language.
